As long as most of the packs are still partially frozen and all packs are cold to the touch, they are safe to use and can be refrozen. Introducing your dog to new food can be a sensitive process, so it's essential to follow the transition guide below over a span of 10-14 days:Days 1-3: Begin by gradually increasing the new food to make up 1/4 of their diet, while the remaining 3/4 consists of their old food during the initial 3 days.Days 4-7: Over the next 4 days, continue the transition by gradually increasing the new food to constitute 1/2 of their diet, alongside 1/2 of their old food.Days 8-10: In the following 3 days, continue the transition, ensuring that by the end of day 10, their diet comprises 100% of the new food.If at any point you observe changes in your dog's appetite or stool consistency, it's advisable to slow down the transition process and allow a few days before further increasing the proportion of the new food. This gradual approach helps ensure a smoother transition and supports your dog's digestive comfort.
